VetHUB Information
Facilities Planning & Construction is dedicated to providing the maximum contracting opportunity for Veteran Heroes United in Business (VetHUBs). In this regard, the office actively seeks the participation of Veteran Heroes United in Business (VetHUBs), which are for-profit entities that are at least 51% owned by a Service-Disabled Veteran who resides in Texas and actively participates in the control, operations and management of the entity's affairs. The Vice Chancellor for Facilities Planning & Construction also acts as the 麻豆天狼副利院 VetHUB Coordinator and monitors VetHUB purchasing by all TTU System offices.
Partnering with FP&C
Professional services firms, construction general and sub-contractors, suppliers and others doing business with Facilities Planning & Construction must demonstrate a good faith effort to meet these goals through:
- Submission of a complete, comprehensive VetHUB Subcontracting Plan along with any statement of Qualifications or Proposal (NOTE: VetHUB firms MUST also submit a Subcontracting Plan)
- Commitment to making a good faith effort toward VetHUB participation in all contracts with FP&C
- Participation in the Mentor/Protege Program
- Identification of VetHUB eligible firms who are not yet certified and aiding them in becoming certified
